The PSD Riptides Lacrosse Team is comprised of lacrosse players from both Peninsula and Gig Harbor High School. The team was started in 2019 due to the local demand for the sport and the district’s desire to promote opportunities for women athletes. The program has continued to grow due to the local Gig Harbor Lacrosse Club’s youth programs in which the majority of team members participated providing a strong foundation of Teamwork, Dedication, Respect, Hard Work, Self-care, and Honoring the game which continues to be developed at the High School Level.
